To strengthen low-altitude airspace security in civil aviation, our team deployed a fully integrated counter-drone system at a regional airport in Henan Province, China. As a high-traffic transportation hub, the airport had experienced an increase in unauthorized drone sightings near runways and terminals, posing serious safety hazards to flight operations and passenger security.
Our solution included a combination of long-range radar, RF signal detection, EO/IR tracking, and intelligent jamming technologies—engineered specifically for the sensitive electromagnetic environment of civil airports. The system provides 360° situational awareness with minimal interference to aviation communications and complies with CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) regulatory standards.
One of the standout features of the deployment is its automated alerting and intervention capability. The system continuously monitors the airspace and instantly alerts airport security and ATC (Air Traffic Control) when a potential drone threat is detected. Based on predefined protocols, it can track and, when authorized, disrupt the intruding drone’s signal without affecting aircraft navigation systems.
Since going live, the system has successfully helped airport authorities intercept several drone incursions before they reached sensitive airspace, avoiding flight delays and ensuring uninterrupted operations. It has become a key part of the airport’s safety and risk prevention strategy, offering a reliable and proactive defense layer against drone-related threats.
This deployment reflects our commitment to protecting civil aviation infrastructure with safe, regulation-compliant, and high-performance counter-UAV solutions.
