To enhance perimeter security and safeguard sensitive operations, we deployed an integrated counter-drone solution around a major state-owned enterprise (SOE) manufacturing facility in Malaysia. As a strategic industrial site involved in high-value production and confidential R&D, the facility faced increasing threats from drone-based espionage, aerial photography, and unauthorized surveillance attempts.
Our team delivered a comprehensive detection and response system tailored to the unique layout and risk profile of the factory. The solution includes RF signal detection, directional antennas for source triangulation, and intelligent jamming modules capable of neutralizing multiple drones simultaneously within a defined perimeter. Optical verification systems were also integrated to allow visual confirmation before countermeasures are engaged.
The system operates 24/7, automatically scanning for drone control and telemetry signals within the surrounding airspace. Upon detection, it issues real-time alerts to the plant’s security command center and, when necessary, activates precision jamming to disrupt unauthorized drone activity—without interfering with internal communication systems or neighboring infrastructure.
Since deployment, the system has successfully deterred multiple drone incursions, some of which were attempting to film restricted areas. These proactive responses have helped prevent potential data leakage, protect intellectual property, and reinforce overall site security.
This project highlights how state-owned industrial facilities can benefit from proactive low-altitude defense technologies, ensuring both operational continuity and the safeguarding of national strategic assets.
