Tactical Counter-Drone Support for a Military Unit in Vietnam

During a high-security field operation in Guangxi Province, China, our company was entrusted with providing on-site counter-drone protection for a military unit executing a critical mission. The operation was conducted in a complex environment involving mixed terrain and dynamic troop movements, requiring a mobile, reliable, and fast-reacting anti-drone system to ensure the safety and confidentiality of all tactical activities.

To meet these demands, we deployed a rapid-response counter-UAV system composed of portable RF detection units, directional antennas, and jamming devices—optimized for field operations. The system was designed for quick setup and teardown, with no dependence on fixed infrastructure, making it ideal for mobile deployments during time-sensitive missions.

The RF-based detection module continuously scanned the electromagnetic environment, identifying drone control and telemetry signals in real time. Once a threat was confirmed, the system enabled operators to initiate targeted electronic countermeasures to block the drone’s signal and disable its navigation functions, preventing any potential data gathering or interference with the mission.

Throughout the operation, the system functioned flawlessly—detecting and neutralizing multiple suspicious drone approaches without revealing troop positions or interrupting mission flow. Its presence gave the command unit full confidence in maintaining airspace control, while significantly reducing the risk of external surveillance or information leakage.

This deployment showcases how flexible and mission-ready counter-drone systems can directly support military operations in the field—providing critical airspace protection in real-time, under pressure, and in unpredictable environments.
