  An anti-UAV radar is an electronic device that uses electromagnetic waves to detect drones. Its basic principle is to actively transmit an electromagnetic wave signal to illuminate the drone. This signal is reflected by the drone, and the radar receives the reflected signal. After analog processing such as filtering, amplification, and mixing, and digital processing such as pulse compression, signal accumulation, and clutter removal, it detects the drone and infers information such as its range, direction, pitch, speed, size, and type, thereby performing various functions such as guiding optoelectronic devices.


  A typical anti-UAV radar system consists of five components: an antenna, a transmitter/receiver, a signal processor, a power supply, and a terminal.During the transmission phase, the signal is generated by the signal processor and sent to the transmitter/receiver. The transmitter/receiver's transmission channel amplifies the signal and outputs it to the antenna, which then radiates the signal into the air. The electromagnetic waves radiated by all antenna channels superimpose in the air, forming the system's transmit beam. During the reception phase, the echo signal is received by the antenna and sent to the transmitter-receiver. After processing by the transmitter-receiver, it becomes an intermediate frequency signal and enters the signal processor. After pulse compression, moving target indication (MTI), moving target detection (MTD), pulsed Doppler (PD) signal processing, and constant false-alarm rate (CFAR) detection, it ultimately forms a target trace and is sent through the network port to the terminal. The terminal processes and displays the target trace, configures and controls the equipment, and records and plays back data. The terminal then reports target information to the command and control system as needed.
